We are conveniently located within a 5 minute walk to the beach, state park and fishing fleets. A 10 minute walk to the boardwalk and other major attractions. |

Deposits, Cancellations and Refunds
We require a deposit on all reservations. Reservations of 1-2 nights require a 1 night deposit: 3-6 nights, a 2 night deposit. A week or more 50% deposit. We accept *MC/Visa, debit cards, cash and travelers checks. Personal checks are accepted only as advanced deposit payment. A full refund will be given to those who notify us 14 days prior to scheduled arrival. A cancellation with less than 14 days notice will not be refunded unless we are able to rent all available rooms. There are no refunds for early departures or unused portions of your reservations. Our guest's are not allowed to "sub-let" their room, regardless of payment method. All refunds are made on a monthly basis by check. A 10% service charge will be applied to all cancellations.

Credit Card Reservations
Many reservations are made at the last minute (within 1-7 days of arrival) using a credit card to hold / secure the room. We suspect that most people wait to see the weather before "confirming" and request that our office just "hold" the room with a credit card, insisting that it not be run as a sale. Unfortunately Blue Jay Motel Inc. can no longer "hold" rooms without billing for at least 1 night. In the event of a no show or cancellation, any room reserved with a credit card will be billed for at least 1 night for each room that is reserved.
